This Void is a new young band from northern Germany who just dotted the line with Devilduck Records (The Dope, Scams) where they released their debut album Crystals earlier this year.
This Void play catchy pop songs along the lines of bands like Vampire Weekend and Little Comets. While the lyrics are mostly English, the band occasionally pays homage to their native tongue by adding the line “Weit weg von uns” (far away from us) to the song title. If you listen closely you’ll hear it during the first verse of Them Guns.
The Void have already played a bunch of festivals alongside the likes of Slågsmålsklubben, Sizarr, Kaiser Chiefs, Maximo Park and The Wombats. Tonight is your chance to catch them live at Comet Club. It’s only 6€ in and there’s a Karreraklub after show party.
