Tonight is gonna be one of those nights where you get to see three great bands in a row. Title Fight are headlining at Magnet tonight and they are bringing Transit and Balance And Composure for supports.
Out of those three Transit are the only ones I’ve seen before when they toured with fellow pop-punks Man Overboard last winter. Transit are one of the most promising pop-punks band hailing from the East Coast these days. I was amazed by the unrelenting show they offered last time despite the fact that there was no more than 20 people in the room. Here’s hoping it will be more this time. They have a new album out called Listen & Forgive which is one of my favourite records this year.
I couldn’t have hoped for Balance And Composure to ever come to Europe and yet here they are. After two EPs (one split with Tiger’s Jaw) they have recently released their first full length Seperation on Top Shelf Records. Their sound is probably best described as alternative although there is a certain emo edge to it (don’t expect eyeliner though).
Headliners Title Fight are promoting their latest release Shed which came out earlier this year. Shed is their debut album after releasing a bunch of EPs since 2005. Their straight forward punk rock will round up this already perfect night and make it one to remember.
