The Megaphonic Thrift, more than just a clever name, are a loose knit super group hailing out of sunny Norway comprising members of Casiokids, The Low Frequency and Stereo 21. Described by NME as ‘face meltingly intense’, which means they’re so good you’ll be left disfigured at the end of the gig I guess, and no strangers to the summer festival circuit, they’re for you if you like your indie rock sounding like Dinosaur Jr. with more than a bit of crazy noise and psychedelics thrown in. Which should be everyone really.
