The September days have been warm and we’ve left the rain and grey of last month largely behind, time to let a little bit of sunshine in musically, here come the Fresh & Onlys.
The past year has been kind to the San Francisco based kids, an invitation to play at All Tomorrow’s Parties and then touring with Deerhunter were standout moments, but it’s really all capped off, tied up in a shiny ribbon, with the release of their new album Play It Strange, their third proper album.
Playing something between a surprise show and a secret show here in Berlin, you’ll find the Fresh & Onlys at the wonderful Antje klesund in Friedrichshain. If you’ve never been, do go, it really is worth checking out. And don’t be afraid to ask the help of passers-by in finding the place, it’s very well hidden.
