In recent years there has been a kind of revival of post-hardcore and alternative rock bands in the UK. Few people would notice these bands over here which is a pitty. Tonight two of Britain’s leading alternative bands are gonna crash Crystal club.
Both bands emerged from the post-hardcore scene but have almost abandoned shouts and growls on their latest records. It’s The Blackout’s fourth full lenght and We are the Ocean’s second.
The Blackout are one hell of a live band which they have proven on numerous occasions having supported Funeral for a friend, Limp Bizkit and Bullet for my Valentine. I’m glad that both bands decided to embark on their first headline tour in Europe together.
