The marriage of Vivian Girls garage-fuzz rock and Woods breezy psych-folk sound has resulted in The Babies who make:
roughed-up jewels cut from the same cloth as Hazlewood and Sinatra, The Velvet Underground and Nico, Pisces and Linda Bruner, and other dream marriages.
Cassie Ramone and Kevin Morby plus friends have maintained The Babies momentum somehow despite all their other bands, side projects etc, that it seems like The Babies has become priority No.1. Who knows, it probably isn’t and they may very well disappear soon for a long time but for now they’re on tour and returning to Marie-Antoinette for more lo-fi garage-rock shenanigans.

Support is from one of Berlin’s bands of the year, Fenster. Charming and captivating audiences all over town for the past year with their deconstructed dream-pop, they’ve recently signed to Morr Music and completed a tour through France, Switzerland and Germany.
