“Dancing Til It’s May” (lit. Dancing Until May Comes), partly celebrating May Day and all the projectiles you’re going to be hurling at the police the next night, partly celebrating the old German tradition of Walpurgisnacht when the Witches come out to play, and partly because this time of year is the best time of year and if you weren’t going to go out dancing on April 30th on a warm spring night, then when will you really?
Stretching across a bunch of venues in Kreuzberg including Magnet, Lido, Festsaal & My Name Is Barbarella, there’s a bunch of music stages devoted to a bunch of different styles presented by a bunch of DJs that you’ll probably recognise if you’re anything at all into indie disco nights in Berlin. This is a big fucking party.
