Kristian Matsson, aka The Tallest Man On Earth, a ridiculously tall name for such an average sized performer but the proof is in the performing as they say (who exactly they are I hope I find out some day because I keep quoting them) and this kid has had it going on from the beginning.
An excellent stage presence and accomplished guitar player, Matsson, now on his third album and signed to Dead Oceans, he has toured with Bon Iver among others but I suppose if you’re a fan you know that already. If not and you’re wondering what the hell this guy sounds like, well there’s a video below.
If I was to tell you what I think I wouldn’t say he sounds like Bob Dylan like some in the press have been saying, cos that would just be silly but that’s the music press right? Yes, it is, sitting around with their silly hats on and saying silly things…but we’re nice and still actually buy records not like the thieving, downloading masses.
