Strange Forces they have. After a superb headlining set at our very own show last Friday at Knochenbox, SF continue blazing a trail through the Berlin night with yet more shows, firstly at Raum 20 and also a few days later at Festsaal supporting Salem.
I don’t know about you but the prospect of Strange Forces on the Festsaal soundsystem is one which momentarily made me forget I’m supposed to be writing about something else entirely.
Ah, yes, the show tonight at R-20, yes indeed, if you’ve become a fan of SF in recent times as we all have here then you’ll know what they get up to live. If you’re in the dark then Strange Forces’ music tends to wake up parts of the brain left long dormant by too many bad live bands. It’s loud, psychedelic guitar music with echoey, trippy vocals and well, I’ll use someone elses words cos I’m feeling sick and dopey:
“Strange Forces create their own trip with a full, scary, oceanic, cinematic, and high strangeness reality. Psychotropic vocals, sci-fi guitars and winding roads of organic and digital sounds being channeled from one swell to another” make it a unique live experience.
Ask anyone who was there last Friday.
Here they are doing the business last summer, the sounds not the best but it looks great.
