Auster Club, otherwise known to many of you as “the old Privat Club (remember that place?) underneath the very delicious Markthalle restaurant, presents the second show in it’s White Room series, bringing you Snffeltffs, a lo-fi garage duo from Berlin who promise to soundtrack your drunk fun this Saturday night.
One guy on the geetar, the other one playing bass and drums at the same time, occassionally spiced up with 60s Organ sounds and not only one but two Kazoos (yep, you got it, that fuzzbox/ wasp swarm-trumpet thingy!), Snffeltffs style can vaguely be described as a mixture between classic garage rock and 70’s New York Sound, or as they call it: “Shit-Fi Garage”
Already having become well known no-goods with their old bands and having shared stages with such illustrious names as Strange Boys, Dum Dum Girls, Widmen, Vivian Girls… etc. it took them until the summer of 2012 to finally do something together.
Their budget-rocky EP „Female Dreams“ will be released on the 26th of April via Snowhite/Rough Trade.
