Canadian solo multi-instrumentalist and certified party-starter Rich Aucoin takes to the stage at Fritzclub here in Berlin for a night of epic good times and dancing like there’s no tomorrow.
And we seriously mean that. If you’re planning on going to the show only to sit in the corner with your arms crossed complaining about the price of beer and how the Toilettenfrau scowled at you this one time, then dont, if you want to bounce around like a maniac and let Aucoin be your guide in a magical indie pop rave journey, then slip into your loudest party clothes and sterp inside.
Touring on the back of last year’s Public Publication, the sister EP to 2007′s Personal Publication, Aucoin’s indie-pop excursions can be compared to the likes of Architecture in Helsinki and he’s played alongside such other acts as Caribou, Dan Deacon, Deerhoof, Girl Talk and Holy Fuck.
Which is all very good and well, but what about the music? Check it out…
