Not ones to stretch out of their comfort zone much at all, Sheffield indie rockers Reverend & The Makers finally decide to grace us with their presence here in Berlin, a big thing since they’ve toured the UK almost exclusively since their forming in 2005, not very often at all breaking out from Great Britain’s briny banks.
They’re not a band you shouldn’t miss. Your life won’t be over if you don’t see them nor will the world be plunged into chaos if they themselves ever, as a band, one day vanished from it. But if you’re curious to see a group who were once billed as the second coming, but who’ve spent a little too long working at it and never really ever quite got there, even though having quite a few decent little tracks, then get your fifteen bucks out. And I’m pretty sure that there’s nothing on tele that night anyway.
