Polar Bear Club are one of the most interesting punk rock bands around at the moment. In Europe they’ve mostly made themselves a name by touring with The Gaslight Anthem or Rise Against while in the States they play sold out shows on their own. Last summer they released their critically acclaimed third album Clash Battle Guilt Pride. This summer they released their first ever acoustic EP Live At The Montage.
The first time I saw them live was when they played with Look Mexico at Lovelite in front of no more than 30 people. Yet it was one of the best punk rock shows I’d been to in a long time! I’m glad they’ve decided to come back to Germany not only for festivals but also for some intimate club shows of which one will go down tonight at Cassiopeia.
