Oldseed is canadian Craig Bjerring. Playing in numerous bands over the years, Craig has focused on Oldseed over the last 5 or so years, making Germany his home in the process. He has returned to the original purpose of the travelling artist, that of entertainment provider in exchange for hospitality. Funding his own tours, music production and even pressing his own records, Oldseed carries with him his own brand of folk music, i.e. not the massively over-produced nu-folk rubbish of recent times, and an evening spent in his company in the intimate surroundings of that such as Valentin Stuberl should show you what I try to convey here. A talented guitarist and singer, you’d be a fool to miss out. He told us that one of his first solo shows was in his home town of Winnipeg supporting Smog……..go find out why.
