Searching for the mystical bones of Rasputin, deep in the bowels of Siberia, the paths of three solo journeymen miraculously came together. One dark night, with no wood to build a fire &encircled by starving wolves, the mighty Three, sharing no common language, staved off the bitter frost &fought back their impending doom by singing the magical songs of Lenny Kravitz until daybreak. It was this fateful night which inspired them to form a Lenny Kravitz acapella group &share His glory with the world. After countless years touring the world, including (funny country), the beautiful Three were called once again by the stars to embark on a new &bolder journey, Mincer Ray.
Mother of the Unicorn
Mother Of The Unicorn made their debut at the Kugelbahn Cranky Night series in August 2012. Joe Kelly, the creative force behind this band, and his brother Aaron, recently re-located to Berlin from Brighton and have recorded two of their four EPs since arriving. Having recruited William Kudahl Sorensen on bass, Kelly’s artistic vision is beginning to become realised in a live setting. A healthy dose of The National and Radiohead can be heard throughout MOTU’s excellent arrangements, one to watch.
