Our favourite Balti experimentalists Animal Collective are back for another round of controlled lunacy here in Berlin, this time as part of the Melt Klub Weekender series hosted at Astra Kulturhaus in Friedrichshain.
It’s been a while since the material of Merriweather Post Pavilion first saw light of day and since the trend seems to be for them that a new album makes it out every two years, lets extrapolate that we’re due for a newy this year. Which makes it also possible that we’ll hear some new songs at their gig here in May. Which would be awesome. And a story that you and I can tell our friends after the fact. And we’ll sound really cool at parties when we tell the story. Which is what it’s all about, really.
