A nice little evening lined up for you at Schokoladen yet again. Heavily influenced by Klaus Kinski and Serge Gainsbourg, the Love Lanes write and perform French, German and English songs somewhere between Fehlfarben, Killing Joke, Wipers and Les Dogs. They are currently working on new recordings and plan to have a 7″ out by the end of the year. If a decent garage-rock assault is what you’re looking for then these boys have it all, even a farfisa thrown in for extra 60s original sound, a great live band in any language.
Bananarchie, well these Frenchies just know how to use the German language in amazingly sensual ways. That’s probably also the reason why their album Gut und Gnstig was pressed on beer-coloured transparent vinyl. They made the video below which is pretty funny and cute and also a very fine song too, French people singing good german songs, you have to see it to believe it.
As usual it’ll be first band on at 8pm or 20:ooh for the 24hour clock inclined among you.
