Soundscape post-rock act Ej Bekot do a sound that comes close to what you’d imaging hearing at the bottom of the ocean, if you had the gills and the interest to hang around the bottom of the ocean long enough to check out a post-rock band, that is. A bit noisy, quite downtempo and making songs that each sound like a picture being painted with sound artifacts serving as brushstrokes. Lovely work.
Supporting on the night are local Berlin heroes Brace Choir who’s constantly changing sound makes them worth checking out each and every time they deign so fit to do a show.
A solid night of shoe-gazey, post-rock, sea & desert voyagerism.
