Sun Araw return to us as part of Kometenmelodien 2 at Berghain Kantine. For those of you who witnessed their show last autumn at West Germany this will be a chance to revisit that particular part of your memory to confirm that, yes, it was probably the best show you saw last year. Before you knew what was happening the night had disappeared, the crowd around you had become mute and Sun Araw had a packed room hypnotised, swaying, hanging on every note and echo and this strange new tropical-psych rock band had won many new fans.
Headlining the night is High Wolf, a mystery to many but with music like this he definitely invites one to seek him out.

High Wolf is a solid representation of the mobile and creative world that is necessarily taking shape. Wrapped in secrecy, this French musician has been rather prolific over the past year and change, releasing nine substantial albums on a variety of formats on labels smattered around the globe: Tokyo’s Maomoo, LA’s Not Not Fun, and his own Winged Sun.
