We do like air and we do like concerts and we do like indie. So it follows that we’d like an open air indie concert and this is exactly what the wonderful people of UFAFabrik have decided to prepare for you, for me, for everyone: a Freiluftmusikfestival!
Headlining you’ll find local kids Super700 doing their signature swirling-but-subdued indie pop.
Wenn My Bloody Valentine ein Drogenrausch war, ist super700 der Moment am nACurchsten Tag, in dem man darin schwelgt, ihn durchlebt zu haben. Mit allen Freuden und Verletzungen, die er mit sich brachte. Auch das ist eine Form von Trost.
Along with the Super700 peeps, indie-shoegaze act Yesterday Shop aus Berlin/Hamburg will be there doing a calling kind of synth-wave sound. Indie/acoustic Berliners Souvenir to Mankind will be opening the evening which is cool, since they kind of harken back to a mellow 90’s grunge sound that’s somewhere in with Pearl Jam or Stone Temple Pilots and is pretty likable.
A solid lineup of local acts in a lovely setting in a lovely city.
