Fenster keep up their recent run of shows as they headline this night at Madame Claude with Martha Rose and Dibs completing the line-up.
Fenster’s debut album Bones was released June 1st and if you haven’t already listened, well you really should. Enjoy.
Martha Rose is no stranger to some of you out there but here’s what they like to have said of themselves:
Martha was given a guitar in January 2007, wrapped up in newspaper. She met Ben Joel in a tent in Bestival and he in turn met a friendly banjo. They met Jess in Berlin and played at parties on upside down bowls and boxes. The trio sing songs that speak of the olden days, a delicate sense of darkness, and hazy summers. They evoke the things they see, and the things they imagine. They like the pace of the river. The twilight. And the sad, deep wells inside us all.
