New Jersey indie rockers Real Estate have birthed more than one side project, this time round we’re talking about guitarist Matt Mondanile and his synth-wave thing, Ducktails.
Playing music for the future, now(!), the brand new album from Ducktails made it out / makes it out end of January and marks their most triumphant debut on Domino records. The title of the work, The Flower Lane, changes the pace for them somewhat, since previous releases have more or less been solo efforts from Mondanile. For Flower Lane he’s accompanied by the assorted talents of friends Oneohtrix Point Never’s Daniel Lopatin, Joel Ford of Ford & Lopatin/Airbird, Madeline Follin of Cults, Sam Mehran of Outer Limitz, Jessa Farkas of Future Shuttle, and more people of that ilk and niveau.
Playing Haus Ungarn (formerly HBC), tickets are on sale now from the link below and are going for the the more than reasonable amount of 13€.
