Two chief rockers from Sweden go on tour together : Since the founding of the Hellacopters in the mid 90s Andreas Tyrone Dregen Nicke Andersson and play an important role in the national and international rock scene. Dregen was in the Backyard Babies, co-founded the mentioned Hellacopters , played in the supergroup Super $ hit666, was the guitarist of Michael Monroe and recently released his first solo album. Nicke was a member of the Hellacopters, Entombed and a few years ago founded the rock band Imperial State Electric whose latest album Reptile Brain Music was released in November.
Although the two are great friends and drinking buddies, they they haven’t been on stage together since 1998. But that is about to change: The heavy duo is now on a co-headline tour. Dregen says: “I can not wait to put together this package . I have not played with Nicke since the split of the Hellacopters ‘ Nicke adds: ” Although we come up with two different bands who knows what happens at the end of the evening. This tour will be so crammed with high-energy rock and roll that I don’t want to miss it for anything in the world.”
