Tel Aviv trio CMPTR CMP play their biggest show to date at about blank tonight…get your dancing shoes all shiny and fresh, you’ll need em. It’s a DFA Issue night which means excellent djs including former members of LCD Soundsystem to mention but a few keeping the dancefloor packed til the wee hours.
While LCD Soundsystems now history, two of the remaining members will be in Berlin tonight to play exlusive DJ Sets for LA JEUNESSE DOREE’s third Summer Edition at About Blank.
Sound Wizard and backing Vocalist GAVIN RUSSOM will be back for some time in Berlin to record new Material with the CRYSTAL ARK and hopefully will bring some of that raw studio material with him, later be joined by the LCD’s former Bassplayer TYLER POPE who will share his love for good ol’ house music with you.
Also behind the wheels of steel that night will be PETER INVASION, drummer and Bassplayer of HERE IS WHY and founder of RIOTVAN, Leipzig, BAR25 Resident Beaner, FARBFERNSEHER Residents DICK & FETT and last but not least WHITE Recors Artist and LJD Impressario JASON.
