Cold War Kids are one of those bands that nobody really expected to last that long and that the couple of amazing tracks from their first album would be pretty much all we’d ever hear from them. Dunno why, it’s not that they’re bad at all, but there’s plenty of good bands in the world and it would be unusual for someone to proclaim that they were a Cold War Kids fan or even wear the t-shirt. I’m wondering if I’ve even got a Cold War Kids CD, I really don’t remember, which is also pretty indicative. But here they are in Berlin with their third album just out end of January. I don’t think they’re planning on going anywhere.
