Summer of Beach House
“Teen Dream”, the third album from this Baltimore duo is already one of the album’s of the year. More lovestruck happy-sad songs and heart-burstingly beautiful melodies than you can shake a stick at. Whether lying around lovesick waiting for him/her to come along, fighting with him/her or simply being with him/her this is the soundtrack for the summer. Swirling keyboards and general lushousness abound. Following on from impressive live sets at a sold out Roter Salon in February aswell a support slot with Vetiver last September in the old Magnet they certainly are keeping up the tempo with what will surely be another sell out show, and their biggest yet, at Lido.
