Knowing two things about Amanda Palmer‘s (Dresden Dolls) recent announcments is important at this point. First she announced that there was a new album swiftly on the way from her and the Grand Theft Orchestra, second that she stated that she’s got about 20 songs that could potentially fill such an aforementioned album and none of them have ever been heard before. Knowing both of these two interesting factoids and it’s a very safe conclusion to draw that if you were to see them play here in Berlin at Roter Salon this month that you would be treated to some brand new, never before heard songs, over and above all of your favourite numbers that you would expect to hear. Which is lovely. Not that an Amanda Palmer concert needs any extra adventure or surprises, they arrive in battalions as it is.
