Following on from a 3 year period of composing, French electronic&/post-rock outfit 2KilosAndMore are finally back on stage, this time bringing with them Australian video artist Lisa May as well as spoken word artist of the French underground, Black Sifichi.
The base of their music comes from their electronic musings, however the diversity comes from their employment of traditional instrumentation, guitars, drums and bass. Along with Lisa May’s work projecting onto a scrim (transparent screen) and Black Sifichi laying down dark spoken word along the lines of Nearly God era Tricky, if any show this month is going to make a good attempt at constructing an new world to immerse you in, then this is the one.
