Satellite Stories are a Finnish four piece who sound like a marriage of Two Door Cinema Club and Shout Out Louds. Revealing their new single Campfire earlier this year they headed straight to No.1 on the Hype Machine most blogged about artist chart. The previously released single is a fine example what Satellite Stories are all about. It begins with a delicately picked guitar and vocal introduction, before the band explodes into the track. The hugely catchy work sees the members blending vocal hooks, guitar stabs and a huge four-on-the-floor beat.
Their sophomore album, Pine Trails, was released earlier this month. The band have decided to play a free show at Michelberger to introduce you to their new record. Starting in December, the band will head out on a full European tour which will take them back to Berlin on February 20th at Berghain Kantine.
We don’t have a stage time but I’m guessing it will be around 8ish. It’s advised to be early as these free shows are usually packed.
