Cranky Booking brings you more Melbourne goodness in the shape of garage-surf-soul six-piece Money For Rope who drop into Antje Öklesund to say hi to Berlin ably supported by Ned Collette & Wirewalker who return home to Berlin from their recent tour through France, Spain, Switzerland and Germany.
It’s a Melbourne night and it’s a welcome home party all in one. Wirewalker haven’t played in town for a couple of months so it’ll be great to see them play after so many shows and we’re sure they’ll be in fine form.
Money For Rope’s self-proclaimed garage-surf-soul is a breath of fresh air and their popularity is down to their excellent live performances..and why wouldn’t it be with two drumkits involved. They’re off to SXSW next Spring to showcase their talents so it’s a real treat to have them drop by Antje Öklesund on this tour.
Doors are at 8:30pm…and with this cold coming on fast there’ll probably be a bottle of whiskey on the door in usual Cranky Booking style.
