It might be unusual to promote a support show in particular but I’m doing it anyway because I’m very much a fan of Into it. Over it. and I want to introduce you to them today. Into It. Over it. will be opening for The Swellers tonight as well as Broadway Calls. It is going to be the pop punk/emo show of the year, I bet.
Evan Thomas Weiss, better known as one man band Into it. Over it., is my discovery of the year. The man has been putting out music constantly for two years now. After playing in numerous bands he has started his own one-man band.
His music sounds like it was written 10 years ago, when emo had its heyday and Dashboard Confessional was still a solo artist.
Into it. Over it. has some acoustic and some electric stuff which is equally fantastic. Deep down inside Weiss seems to be a punk.
