Jeez, these kids have been busy. Hailing from New Jersey, only a few short months ago they played the old Magnet for the price of a couple of beers and before you’ve digested their excellent self-titled debut album they’ve become Pitchfork darlings, will play Primavera Sound with Pavement, wow some more crowds in Europe before heading back home to the States for more dates which culminate in a show with Deerhunter in August….phew. That’s all after they visit half of the USA in June and July by the way. Should keep em fit alright. What do they sound like? Oh right, uh, ah, listen to the myspace ya lazy…..but they have been likened to Yo La Tengo, throw in a splash of The Clean and I think you get the picture. I think it’s gonna be on my Summer Soundtrack Vol 4: Hazepop.
