Khuda and Airpeople provide the post-rock, stoner instrumentals at this weeks Thirsty&Miserable night at Schokoladen.
Khuda from Leeds pictured above are an excellent two piece of guitar and drums who slowly build their songs through repetitive rhythms before unleashing deafening guitar assaults on the senses a la Godspeed, Mogwai or even Om. So again Dr.Blitz is recommending getting blitzed outside with a huge you know what before the show and entering trance-rock heaven with these talented boys from Leeds. Their recently released album Palingenesia (Field Records) is a superb effort which they are taking on the road all over Europe…and I mean all over, check out the dates…now that’s dedication to your music.
