Roll up, roll up it’s the last ever Casiotone For The Painfully Alone Tour ever.
Aptly titled the “Celebrating 13 years of Obscurity” Final Tour, Owen Ashworth gives the word tour a whole new meaning and has undertaken a 70 date tour of the US, Canada and Europe between Sept 8th and Dec. 5th. I’ve counted it, he actually has less time off than me, amazing.
So lucky us getting to see the one man show of awesomeness that is CFTPA once more before he moves on to pastures new. It’s him, his many keyboards, bleeping and bouncing and his gorgeous voice disarming the masses with beautiful songs. I once saw him play with a full band and it blew me away, let’s hope he surprises the crap out of us this time although at this stage there’s no support lined up yet. So, get your CFTPA t-shirts on, it’s gonna be a celebration.
