Surfer Blood come round again to pay a visit, this time at Privatclub. Astro Coast, their debut album, has been creeping it’s way into your conscience even if you didn’t know it. Put it this way, once you listen to Swim(to reach the end) you’re hooked…it happens and nothing will ever be the same again, all in a good way we hope.
These kids played Berlin last summer already so expect a possible sell-out for an evening of classic indie-rock that sounds maybe a bit Pixies-like and then a little Dinosaur Jr and Sebadoh too and hell, it just sounds great. Go straight to Anchorage on the record to hear what I mean. Possibility of mosh-pit shenanigans at Privatclub on Saturday seem much higher than usual. Sweet. And who wouldn’t want to go see a band that pull off a high-jump photo like this.
