Berlin is very proud of these kids at the moment, them being one of the standout acts to make it out of the local scene of late.
Deservedly so. Bonaparte possess a very decent back catalogue of very decent pop numbers, along with an innate sense of the artistically worthwhile they manage to present themselves seemingly effortlessly. They make crazy look like something that anyone can do. But really, if we tried that kind of crazy on, we’d end up wandering through Alexanderplatz wearing pink lederhosen and nipple-pasties asking passersby if they like the colour “flamingo-fruit-salad” before we were dragged off to wherever people who get their crazy wrong get dragged to.
