If you came to Germany for music, you came here for these guys, and they play so few concerts that it’s not at all okay for you to not show up to this one, meine Damen und Herren, I give you Deutsch-Amerikanishe Freundschaft – the D.A.F, live in Berlin 2011.
One of the best known acts of the neue deutsche welle, the pop hits are something that you might easily have been dancing to in the eighties, or any one of the eighties that followed after the eighties were finished and thought dead. There have been a few, and since the first album from DAF, Ein Produkt der Deutsch-Amerikanischen Freundschaft, came out on the dot of 1980, you’ve had more than 20 years to fit a couple in, maybe make this particular Thursday night another one.

To be honest, since their website is canned along with their myspace not giving any details, we’re having trouble confirming this gig, the venue is selling presale tickets, for what that’s worth.
