New York electronica artist Nao Katafuchi headlines another wondrous installment in the Modern Movement series at King Kong Klub, playing alongside Devils Dancers (minimal synth-wave) and DJ’s Carla M and Tim Farland (Daybed).
Nao has been playing experimental electronica and indulging in various other musical projects since the wee hours of 2000. Coming in and out of full band format performance, he’s since fallen in love, yet again, with solo electronica and his latest material falls somewhere within the bounds of romantic cold-wave. He’s a stylish and culturally aware individual, we trust his judgment.
