Tony Buck has been nothing if not prolific while being here in Berlin, a very regular name in the experimental jazz scene a very respected one outside of that. Quietly famous in Australia for his work with The Necks and reaching an equal status here with his Berlin act Project Transmit (previously).
Taking up a stage in a disused church in Friedrichshain, known to those who know as Theaterkappelle, Project Transmit play an awesome show where the acoustics and the setting will completely compliment their expansive & dystopian sound.
Supporting and complimenting on the night will be Dutch performance and installation artist Margriet Kicks Ass. Especially for Project Transmit MKA have assembled a portable shooting range which will be installed in Knochenbox (the crypt under Theaterkappelle) where guests will be invited to fire a rifle to create sounds and visuals experimentally.
The night also features DJ Coost Lardy Cake with Frank Shouten who’ll be doing a live electronica cut-up performance.
Presented by Jazz N Ex, Knochenbox and Blitzgigs!
