Playing a lovely showcase as part of the Popkomm music industry festival, Berlin based Kitty Solaris and her Austrian friend Bernhard Eder take the stage at Schokoladen in Mitte, giving the industry cats a taste of their respective talents.
Kitty Solaris (previously) has just come away from releasing her latest album Golden Future Paris and has, through the inclusion of many different instruments & sounds, cemented herself as being far and away from the typical female singer-songwriter.
While we wait for his upcoming third album To Disappear Doesn’t Mean To Run Away, Bernhard Eder joins Kitty to play some of the bitter-sweet indie folk numbers that have earned him the following that he enjoys today. Swinging between his native Vienna and his chosen home of Berlin, Eder is increasingly incorporating into his music the special type of melancholy particular to late, lonely nights in Berlin.
