Artistically organic Aime Argote, aka Des Ark does basically whatever she wants. So it would seem in any case. Sometimes playing with a band, sometimes with just herself, sometimes no music at all, like when she brushes her teeth we can assume. Hard to hold a guitar when you’re brushing your teeth. But all of the time it’s somehow compelling and people who like solid songwriting with a good dash of sexual angst always manage to gravitate towards her.
In some incarnation of Des Ark, we’re really in this instance not sure which, although we’re almost sure it’s not the toothbrushing one, Aime Argote will be playing a gig at Marie-Antoinette. The shroud will be thrown away from all this mystery, we can promise only this one small thing. Supported on the night by Berlin post-punk act SISSTERS along with DJ’s.
