EUROPEAN TOUR CANCELLED DUE TO ILLNESS
Sub Pop signees Handsome Furs, when not busy on the road, spend most of their time and devote all of the their talent (of which there is a considerable amount) to making electro-pop that has a realness to it that’s normally only found in guitar bands. It’s easy to have a band that plays electro and have it come off as disposable or even bubblegum, but to somehow break the sound down, or build it up maybe, and come out the end with something with guts and a heartbeat is something that’s not within the bounds of the everyday.
