With a splendid poster from the Amazingly talented Damien Tran, UK Math experimentalists One Man Team Dance make it to Berlin for a gig in the Knochenbox. Beatwise they kind of sound like the Rapture, but completely stripped of the pop thing that makes their latter stuff so saccharine and ending up leaning more toward Battles. Call it prog or math or whatever if you want, but at the end of it all it’s just party music for the thinking man.
Supported on the night by Berlin act Ruins Of Krger playing their first gig ever, they’ve been around for a while, but are only just now making their public appearence. A good mix of surf guitar and drums with grunge textures and the whole thing constructed with good taste in mind. Which we know is important to you.
