Terribly stylish and altogether lovely Berlin music & style magazine Cartouche comes out with another print issue, to celebrate they’ve put together a terrific lineup of bands, all playing for one night at Antje klesund.
Headlining are Berlin/Dortmund act Nadine & The Prussians doing an enveloping indie pop thing based mainly on live-looping, effects, guitar-generated percussion, bass and keyboards and simple but endearing vocals from front-woman Nadine Finsterbusch.
Supporting are Berlin’s Mincer Ray, indie rock hovering somewhere around Dinosaur Jr, and fellow Berlin act High Heels doing a psych-grunge thing that’s kind of in there with the Flaming Lips. The more you think about it, the better this lineup is sounding, be excited!
Completely worthwhile and decent DJ’ing from esteemed representatives of No Fear Of Pop, Spex, Lird Records and Let’s Kiss And Make Up.
