Honestly, I had no idea that these guys still existed. Which is pretty fair given that the Courteeners haven’t had an album since 2010 and coincidentally, it’s around that time that I stopped reading NME also. But they are still around and they do have a new album out an they have found a way to make it to Berlin for a show here supporting the fresh material. The new release has been titled Anna and peaked at No 2 on the UK charts. Which is pretty good for a band that we’ve not hear dmuch from in a while and definitely making them worth your time checking out.
